Toughened window panes are used most frequently in side and back car window panes. This type of glass is more resistant to impact and bending than standard glass. Under the influence of a stronger impact, however, it shatters in a “safe” manner, that is, it breaks into small, unsharp pieces which reduce the risk of serious cuts and injuries.

Laminated window panes used as front and more and more frequently as side window panes. Such type of window panes provides more comfort to the driver and the passengers, reducing high frequency noise. They protect against the UV radiation and decrease solar radiation. In addition, they protect the car against burglary and reduce the risk of theft.
